Results Released: 2024 National Executive Compensation Survey

HR Source is excited to announce the release of the highly anticipated 2024 National Executive Compensation Survey

This year, 1,964 U.S. organizations participated in cooperation with 12 associations of the Employer Associations of America (EAA). Survey participants contributed pay data for 12,345 executives in 48 top management positions. Compensation data is broken out by sales volume, industry, employment size, region, state, and metropolitan statistical area (MSA). 

This report also contains a thorough benefits section and provides benchmarking data on supplemental benefits and perks reported by job group for manufacturing, non-manufacturing, public sector, and private employers.

Here are a few highlights:

  • The survey has a range of industries represented. 36.4% are manufacturing and 63.6% are non-manufacturing. 
  • 54.3% of respondents reported data in the Great Lakes regional breakout which includes Illinois. 
  • Average projected wage increases reported for a sampling of positions include:
