2025 Park and Recreation Compensation Survey Released

We’re excited to announce that the results of the 2025 Park and Recreation Compensation Survey are now available!

This survey is a resource for park districts, forest preserves, golf courses, and special recreation associations. The 2025 report includes data provided by 127 Illinois organizations representing 14,999 employees in 84 positions. New positions this year include Head Chef and Marketing Assistant.

Compensation data is reported by agency type, budget category, equalized assessed value (EAV), and geographic location. 

All participants, regardless of membership status with HR Source, received a complimentary copy of the results earlier this month. Those who didn’t participate may purchase a copy of the survey here.

If you’d like to receive this report for free in the future, download our 2025 Survey Calendar and mark your calendar for August 19 – October 3, 2025, when this survey will be open for participation again.
